This layout was a part of the Network World 25th Anniversary Issue. Network World writers were lucky enough to interview some of the living legends in the tech world. I was lucky enough to work with the talented illustrator Dale Stephanos who illustrated these portraits in his unique style of caricature and realism. Interestingly, the illustration that won an award in Communications Arts magazine never made into the magazine. I had assigned out all of the illustrations on the assumption that everyone would be willing to be interviewed. Ted Hoff, who had an influential hand in inventing the microprocessor, declined to be interviewed, thus, he never made it into the issue. See the art that never made it into the issue.
